can we please have new update for iray engine

Ok, here is the problem. Sometimes when you render on iray, render will stop using gpu and continous using only cpu. And render time naturally drops also.

Well here is my proposal, you should be able to pause render and when hittin continue, render should continue using gpu also. Now it doesn't, please update, if it can be done.

(before somene is suggesting something abouth scene size, i already know when scene is too heavy for my pc. I'm talking about rendering exactly the same scene i have rendered before using gpu, only adjusting for example direction where model is looking)

If there is already discussion abouth this in forums, don't know how to search it from google, so link please :)

try saving your scene, restarting your computer

DAZ studio has some weird memory leak I have never been able to solve in spite of all the contrary opinions of many

and by no means the only program that does so

cleaning the temp folder regulary also a good move

you only need look in task manager after you have closed it to see how it hangs around using RAM

...that memory leak has been around for some time.  I remember it when I was still using Ver. 1.8

Remember that Daz cannot upgrade Iray, it is written by nVidia and they just get a module to which to link from DS. As for your renders, are you sure there are no other differences in use of the GPU memory - other open renders, or other applications open?
