Updated Topic Title:Using MakeHuman to create a multisoftware rigged figure
Updated Topic into:
I have been thinking about using MakeHuman figure as a basis of multisoftware rigged figures. Something similar to the original Star figure which has a Poser version and a Daz Studio version, but I want to expand on it. This will take some time for me to do but I am thinking of actually starting this project. I do need to find and watch YouTube Videos on rigging for the software for this figure. I want Poser legacy, Poser weight-mapped, DS weightmapped, Carrara ready and Blender ready. I might be able to do iClone. I can do for personal usage due to the license restrictions of Maya, 3DsMax, and Cinema 4D. I might be able to do something with those software once I buy the full version and resave all the projects with the full version.
Anyone wanting to volunteer to help? or is this better for me to tackle by myself?
Old Topic title: Open3Dproject or make human?
Old topic intro:
I did a web search for open source human figures and found Open3DProject and MakeHuman. I know they can be a start for making a human figure. What is the benefit of one over the other?
