There is a wonderful extension for firefox, called something like "Daz Helper": with it you can hide a certain product forever! ;)

...apparently it doesn't work on Chrome.

Do you have an old PC? ^^
I don't have any problem using at the same time Chrome, Mozilla, Opera, Edge and Explorer for any need! :D

...about 6 years old.  The Daz Helper scripts worked fine until I switched to Chrome so  not sure what is going on.  Still new to Chrome as a month or so ago, the version of FF I was using would no longer let me access my email inbox (it kept showing some sort of error). I have been loathe to update FF as every time I did so, I would lose useful extensions/plugins and it wiped out saved passwords.   It also became very slow often going into "not responding" mode (it would take 5 min just to load Gmail in the morning when I started up whereas Gmail opens up almost immediately in Chrome).

Firefox introduced a new system; updates no longer broke extensions; I haven't had an issue since then. They do however opperate a policy that is more secure with regards to certificates; this can casue issues when the owner of said certificate doesn't reknew.

there are some product thumbnails/images that I really am tired of seeing for various reasons. Not sure if the web page hides all purchased items from view or if that is a result of the DAZ add on browser app ... but I've already purchased items, such as cinco-de-lime-o just so I dont have to see it any more...

Here are a couple of others

Harsh! That's my favorite promo from my stuff ever! :D

Seriously though, you went through the trouble of downloading and renaming then uploading 3 images you were tired of seeing? That seems a little masochistic to me :D

it was no trouble posting them at all ... and i found out by doing so I dont need to see them any longer. that nose hair thing is gross..and probably meant to be ... and funny I suppose if you have that type of humor. I don;t
Sorry, no disrespect meant at all..I just don;t like seeing those images, and every sale they pop up right there for me to see.

It was an April Fool's joke product :D

LOL i know exactly which M4 pose you mean - I hated it too. Ha ha. It popped up EVERYWHERE and oh my gosh, did I loathe it. I do recall there were times when it would be mentioned in posts in the forum, there was quite a few who hated seeing that pose. LOL.

It's not so much promo images that I don't like - it's more getting sick of seeing a particular product cos it turns up in EVERY SINGLE SALE. That would be why I would hide it, using Ati's browser add on. It's more of a "oh god, here we go again, why does that product(s) turn up every time???". I'm not referring to one particular product, there's a few that do it and I just get sick of seeing them all the time. Almost makes me want to buy the damn things so I won't see them. LOL.

Well, you don't see it as much anymore, but there was a time when a certain pose for M4 was being used everywhere by almost everyone. I could never understand why it was so popular, as it was one of the most ridiculous, unnatural poses that I could imagine. I can honestly say that I have never seen a real human being standing that way, and probably for good reason. I used to cringe and scowl everytime I saw it. I'd show you the one that I mean, but that would mean using it or posting it, and that is something I swore I would never do. Some of you may know the one I'm referring to.

Oh, and Canary, you can add the little two-handed heart thing to that list. Too cute has a limited shelf-life.

...the one nice thing I noticed with Chrome, it doesn't' bloat in memory as badly as FF did which often resulted in periods of "not responding" that could last a couple minutes.  I also like Chrome's from fill function better as it is "one click" rather than having to click on each line separately and the advert/popup blocker tends to do a better job.

  • That zombie thing shows seriously poor taste. But I do not hear the call of being outrageous, so I don't need it. Perhaps some do...

I don't want things censored, but there COULD be a greyed over image like Rendo does for those of us who shop while eating breakfast.

LOL! The Daz deals browser add-on will hide products from results if you really want - look on the product page and there's a button to do that, to the right of the main image.

If I never see the hand pose where the thumb and pinky are stuck out and the other three fingers are folded down again, that would be fine...

I'm going to have to check that out.  Does Rendo have something similar?  I have a few vendors that i dislike and its because their use the same exact character to model all their clothes or poses.   I'm sure its because they are familiar with the character so its easier to pose or because they have all the morphs setup so that clothes look fine.  But sometimes i wonder if those people might also have an unhealthy obsession with their character.

From what I've seen others say, artists who use the same character do it because it gives their art/product a "signature look". As a customer, you see that character modeling the outfits or poses, or whatever, and you immediately know it's the creation of a certain vendor. I agree, I don't really like that practice, but it doesn't bother me.

Back to topic, I don't have any particular product image I dislike, but I don't like dark promo images or products that only show artistic renders and no clear shots of the product that's being advertised.

I wouldn't say that I hate it, but the main picture for this set creeps me out a little.

What's up with the random child with no shoes. It looks flat, like a cut-out, and the fact that it's bare-footed and huddling under a tree, sucking its thumb, makes me think of ghost children in the woods. surprise

I'd day gross more than poor taste; then again, the Zombie genre as a whole could be expunged... Totally, and I would consider it a service to mankind!

I do recall questioning this promo when it came out. But they determined it was acceptable. To me it is disturbing for several reasons

Y'all...if I'm not mistaken, the Daz faires were listening to you. Have a look at any product page for a shiny new blue button.
