Object deformed by two sources

Seeing how Dforce can be tricky when it comes to achieve this, I am trying to have the op of a bed matress deformed by the butts of two characters sitting there and chatting, using collisions. As collisions won't (apparently) lat me have two sources of deformation for one target, I thought I cold deform once, export the matress as obj, reimport it, replace the original matress and then have the second character bring its contribution. However, no matter what I do, my exported obj always includes the matress and the first character. I know there is a solution wioth "grouping" but I must be missing a spot. Can someone please break it down for me ? :/

  • Have you considered using D-formers instead? Should be simple enough to make D-form fields for sitting characters.

  • OBJ export will, by default, export all visible items, so hide the ones you don't want.
