Thought I'd let everyone in on this and see what comes back. I'm looking for some possable add-on ideas for the Rat bike.

Looks fantastic, @DzFire! Textures/poses designed specifically for the bike would be convenient, and perhaps some fx (smoke for the pipes, volumetric light beam for the headlight, etc.) would be cool. Looking forward to it's release.

I like it... The engine reminds me of the 50s BMW engines.

The only thing I can think of would be less of an add on and more of a different version... Perhaps some sort of pseudo-cafe racer configuration.

Its more of a look, than something practical, but I've seen a bunch of bikes converted to that sort of style.

Maybe for simple ad ons, you could do some high-tech looking LED head and tail lights (signal lights/mirrors)... I've seen some cool looking aftermarket units displayed on similar style bikes at NYC's Bike show... I get that those things kinda "civilize" or can make the bike "trendy looking", but they might give some added appeal.

A totally impractical/crazy/stupid idea would be a side car... Realistically that would probably not attach well to this sort of bike, but I've got a really bad cold and three hours of sleep, so my brain is getting really trippy...

I should go now, before my ill brain starts coming up with more nonsense.

Whatever you end up making, that's a great looking bike as it is.

    Good luck.

Not sure it would work on this bike, but some sort of saddlebags or such? For when one take the bike to the store and don't want to use a backpack or something. Other than that, material presets for used and new version.. and perhaps, if possible, a broken down/crashed/badly need repairs version?

some extras like, tire & tank design, maybe some disk brakes & make the front forks a little longer to make it more contemporary would be cool

The obvious thing that comes to mind is a sidecar, but that would involve you in a lot more modeling work.

Of course, once you have a sidecar, you can mount a machine-gun on it, which would look bad-ass, and open the door to some dieselpunk or Mad Max-type stylings and accessories.

You might also consider giving it a double rear wheel ('rat trike'?), which again opens the door to mounting more preposterous objects on the rear of the bike. Harpoon platform, for hunting land whales?

The bike looks great, by the way.

As others have noted, a side car comes to mind. It has a real post apocalyptic Mad Max sort of vibe to me, so the side car with a machine gun just "fits". If you went that direction, then maybe a gun/gun scabbard, grenade launcher, flame thrower .... I could go on, but you get the picture.

    Awesome model already wink

A true post apocalyptic sidecar is made from a 55 gallon oil drum... I remember seeing some over-the-top rat bike somewhere that had an oil drum sidecar... It wasn't well executed, but it was interesting.

P.S.... This is not a suggestion, just idle conversation.

Splattered with mud texture option would be useful.

I thought I wrote this before, but a texture opinion similar to the Allard BMW custom sled would probably work nice... Black frame and wheels, rust patina on the tank and fenders, oxidized finish on the aluminum parts.  Basically that old school desert survivor finish.
