Is the search function broken or am I missing something?

SCENARIO:

  1. I type the word "Hair" into the search box at the top of the page.
  2. I hit RETURN on the keyboard.
  3. A new page loads and scroll down to the appropriate category line.
  4. I click the "Show All" dropdown (var right).
  5. And nothing happens. (Nothing changes, no new items appear at the bottom of the page: NOTHING happens).

I've tried this on two different computers with three different browsers (Chrome, IE and Edge).

Am I missing something or is something broken here?

Wow. I never would have thought of that. Ever!

Thank you, that fixed it. Thanks!

I don't think anything's broken on the DAZ site because it worked fine for me just now. To be safe, I made sure to do the search exactly as you described (which is what I do anyway :) ) so we could rule out that something is missing. If you hadn't noted using different browsers and computers, I would wonder if something changed on your side, like an update to Java or something.

Searching the forums though, quite a different story:)

I kind of wondered about Java and other plug-ins causing the problem, which is why I mentioned it.

I never would have looked at the "Loyalty Banner" as the cluprit. What an odd fix, but it did the trick.

I know what you mean. I can't help but feeling that search functions, in general, are getting worse and not better.

I wouldn't have thought of that banner as the culprit either. When I tested I had already closed the banner, which I guess is why things worked for me. Of course, I'll forget this thread when the next banner comes and I try to search :)

There is a better way to search "hair". In the thin blue banner before the big sales banners there are categories. Choose People and Wearables - then Hair and you can then go down and sort by figure.

I'll give that a shot and see if it returns more results. Thanks.
