    I remember reading and watching about the '64 Alaska quake on the news back then.  Happened on Good Friday..  

    Scary as we here in Oregon live with a major subduction fault just off the coast that has a potential of triggering a magnitude 9+ quake as well as tsunami that would wash inland up the Columbia.River.

    I remember it too.  Egads that was 54 years ago. 'Membering things in half centuries now. frown

    ...yeah I still remember many of the details of it, but not where I put my glasses down ten minutes ago.

    Writing a book, since 2016, called Ground Zero, soon to be published, not about Alaska  but emanating from a super earthquake in Alaska. How weird. But Alaska is weird. You could Google the owl sightings in Alaska that turn credentialed doctors into psychotic patients (true documentaries). Of course my book is about one of those "psychotic" doctors who knows more than we do and decides he can't save humanity but he might be able to save his loved ones.
