Looking for a few plug-in things

I am coming from Poser 2010/2012, and have a ton of stuff in those runtime folders; however, as DAZ progresses, in a good way, I need to rethink some things.

I don't want to gove up my V4/M4 stuff, as I like the characters I have created; however, G3/G8 offers a lot more.

Are there texture converters, and figure converters out there where I can apply V4/M4 to G3 and G8 figures? The textures are jpg format, so MAT files shouldn't be an issue.

What about poses, and props? Anything available? I don't what to kill all my stuff

This will enable you to use V4 textures on G8F: https://www.daz3d.com/legacy-uvs-for-genesis-8-victoria-4

The G3F version is at Rendo.

You will need to convert the pz2 to DS material presets.

 

For morphs, GenX2 with both G2 and G3 add-ons will enable to convert them from V4 to G3F. Unfortunately the creator passed away so there’s no G8 add-on.

 

For clothes, you will need a V4 clone for your target figure to use autofit.
