Hi guys,

I'm looking for new PC for DAZ 3D and rendering. Right now I got 2 options. Can you tell me which one is better?

1. Intel Core i7+ 8700 Coffee Lake 4.6GHz, Intel B360, RAM 16GB DDR4 + 16GB Optane Memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 8GB, SSD 250GB + HDD 2000GB, Windows Home 10 64-bit

2. AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4.3GHz, AMD B450, RAM 16GB DDR4, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 8GB, M.2 SSD 240GB + HDD 2000GB, Windows Home 10 64-bit

price is almost same 1500 euro

I need to stay in this price range.

    Systems are roughly equivalent. The only major difference is the optane cache drive versus the m.2 SSD on ryzen system. The intel system you'll get faster loading times for programs loading off the HDD while the Ryzen system will have faster loading times from the SSD, primarily the OS with a SSD that small.

    The other difference is the i7 8700 is a locked CPU. It cannot be overclocked. If that doesn't matter to you, if you have no idea what i'm talking about for instance, then system #1 is likely superior. If you have any desire to overclock the Ryzen system is your only option.

    Well at the end I downgrade it a little. AMD Ryzen 5 2600, MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ARMOR 8G, HyperX 16GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Predator Series, 500GB SSD, 2TB HDD.

    It is maybe step back but on the other hand it is 350 euro cheaper.
