Ghost Lighting a Poser Scene in Daz

A while back I purchased a scene from Renderosity which was orginally intended for Poser however the author made release Daz. It was easy enough getting it into Daz format. One of things I noticed was that there is not lighting for the interior of the house. I was going trying to appling ghost lighting to the scene however, under the surfaces tab, there are fewer options. If I try to make a primative surface, I does not have the full range of options I would see in a native Daz scene.

How do I apply ghost lighting to a scene which was not orginally ment for Daz? Is there some kind of conversion I need to do on the surfaces to make them fully daz compatible or am I out of luck?

Thank you in advance!

  • I think you need to select the surface you wish to use as a ghost light, then apply the Iray Emissive shader preset - in the Surfaces pane Presets tab it is, I think, under Shader Presets>Iray
