Hey Everyone,
I know this is a question that's been asked millions of times before so sorry for sounding like a broken record but I'm working on a project and I'm having a lot of problems with poke throughs. I know I could fix some of them in Photoshop post render but does anyone have any suggestions as to how they can be avoided in the first place?
Thanks!

try applying a smoothing modifier to the clothing with collision set to the figure, usually works for me. if that doesn't work, then maybe a push modifier and increase the thinckness of the fabric.
A Smoothing Modifier may help. Or an expansion morph if the clothing has one.
There are also tools like these:

Poke-Away3! for Genesis 3 Bundle - https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/43737
How do you increase the thickness of the fabric? Actually, the "Enble Smoothing" option in the clothing is turned on or are you referring to something else? I also tried, increasing the "Expand All" morph in the clothing to a value of about 10 which seemed to help a little. Also, I'm not sure if this makes a difference but I have applied https://www.daz3d.com/fit-control-for-genesis-3-female-s to the figure.
Thanks for the help!
A few approaches...
Also experiment with the setting in the smoothing modifier
I found that sometimes changing from basic shape matching to generic works better, other times I found that turning down the smooting or turning down the collision iterations works better, sometimes it cranking those values up.
