Interesting - I wonder if a lot of people go to specific categories? Personally I always click on the daisy-thing and then Recent Discussions - that way I don't miss much providing I have time to read them (and the subject looks half-interesting)

Interesting, never knew that existed. I go the commons first when i first log on, then commercial threads, then product suggestions, then the new user and technical thread then maybe the PC thread.

what case? its no problem for me. i just won't  post any heads up anymore.  i only did it to help the members here maybe save a buck. The most common area in the forums are The Commons, and somewhat the PC+. its , like I said, pretty much the one forums i go to frequently. Less and less though considering the feedback I get. I try to be somewhat active in the "community" but get harshed quite often.

I appreciated the heads up. Just happened to own the stuff;) Nevertheless, tks!

  • Yeah, I appreciate the heads up too. The commons is really the only thread I look at consistently on a daily basis.

It's a shame when people don't visit other forums except the Commons. The idea of having different forums to vater for different things and then one forum called the Commons to cater for the bits that don't have a dedicated forum is so sensible, and yet far too many people don't understand, or simply haven't looked at the main menu and seen that it tells you what each forum is for.

    Such as

    The Commons
Discuss anything Daz 3D related not covered by any other forum here.

We even have a forum dedicated to freebies, and a specific thread in the forum which gives links and reminders about limited time freebies such as the ones on the rolling banner.

i will say this..posting here in the Commons results in a much quicker response than any other forum here. I have posted once or so in a couple of them...wait wait, and finally post here. If I need help with something, its usually at that moment. not a week or even a few days off .... thus I use the commons more often. And it is that a lot of technical and DAZ 3d related questions are asked here..probalby for that same reason.

At one time, the mods sent the posts to the correct forum. I'm sure time consuming and there proabably isn;t a mod here 24x7.

  • I totally understand the purpose of different forums, but there's only so much time in the day and I stare enough at my phone as it is, so I pick the one that I've found has the most well-rounded amount of information regarding different aspects of Daz and check on it every so often to see what the threads are. I don't want to have to scroll through five different forums every day.

I see that, but I would rather not wade thru a single forum full of all kinds of topics I have no interest in.

That's the one - looks much more floral on my laptop, maybe a resolution thing.
