G8 clings to backwards compatible clothes
When I fit draping Genesis, G2, or G3 clothing (like dresses or capes) to G8, the draping part of the clothing clings to the G8 figure. For example, if I spread and bend the legs of the G8 model, a dress will also stretch and bend the same way. Or, if I raise the arms of someone wearing a cape, the cape will also raise up. I feel like there must be a simple fix for this and that I am a little slow for not figuring it out. Can anyone point me to a solution to my problem?

There should be a Type button in the AutoFit dialogue, I think it will offer dress as an option. There are also some add-on template products in the store. The bones in the template used (the base figure by default) are projected into the garment - two legs don't work well for skirts, dresses, and robes.
I appreciate your suggestions. I still have this issue, even with autofitted dresses.
FYI, for capes, I can simply manually place the cape, parent it t the upper chest, and never fit the cape. For dresses, which have to fit on top and move accoordng to multiiple bodyparts, I think I need to use autofitting to make the item work.
Also, can you recommend a product that would fix this problem? I could not find one flippling through the Daz catalogue.
