The Clinic question

Are any of the walls separate or moveable? Specificallt, the glass wall in the center, and the window/wall to viewer's left. I am thinking not.

Unfortunately, the walls, floor and ceiling are all one piece (ie: a box). You need to edit the mesh to make part of it invisible. The door is not part of the "box" but it does not have an open/close dial, and you need to fiddle a little with parameters to make it work.

  • Thanks, I was afraid of that. I may get it just for the props. Still trying to decide.between it and https://www.daz3d.com/futuristic-laboratory

For Iray you can also use a Section Plane (Create menu)

or the geometry editor. Just select the glass in the dividing wall, create a new material  and then turn down the opacity. Same for the molding/frame around it. took all of 2 minutes

  • I think I will give it a try. Thanks all! Doing anything with geometry is an old "fear" of mone, although I love playing around with shaders.
