Fed up with wrong gift card code

Yes, I bought a gift card with MyLin8. And I'm ... lets say, very angry. The system tells me "Wrong gift card code. Support is totally busy, not answering. I want to buy things, but this gift card got the most of my free money, so right now I have to minimize shopping. This has been more than a day now, and, as we all now, yesterdays special offers don't stay. So, double anger. Still no working gift card code. And it's not an empty space at the wrong place or something simple like that.
This damned shop system drives me crazy. And drives me away. This is something which never ever happened with that other shop. Might need to buy elsewhere in the future to avoid such situations with the DAZ shop.

I always get two codes when I buy a gift card and only one of them works. You only got one?
If you pay by Paypal, you get two giftcard codes. One of them always throws an error message, the other works. No idea why the system does that. If you paid by Paypal and did not receive the second code (might be in the spam folder), then that is an error. I don't know for certain about the other sorts of payment, but AFAIK, only paypl payment creates this behaviour.
Shop like you would if you had the money, make a screenshot of the cart. Don't check out.
Send it to support DURING the time the prices are valid.
Tell them you expect these prices to be honored and reference your support ticket which states your gift card code isn't working.
Ask how they can work with you to get the products in your account, such as deducting the cart amount from your gift card.
Last week I purchased a gift card, I paid with credit card and also got the "wrong code" error. I always pay with credit card and have purchased many gift cards, and AFAIR it's first time the code has been bad.
Actually it doesn't matter if the prices are no longer valid, if you have a screenshot.
I'm waiting on a response from CS regarding a "wrong code" gift card, too.
It was a credit card, and I got a single code. The one which is wrong.
It's no fun to shop with this bad shopping system which seems to get something wrong with every changing of the sho offers. Most times I just wait till the shop works again, but waiting now means not getting the daily offers.
Or perhaps this is a sign from above that I spend to much money here?
About 90% of the time I get 2 gift codes and it is always the 2nd one that is the correct one. Otherwise I get 1 code and it works.
The two gift card/wrong gift card issue has been going on for some time now. I don't know why DAZ has not fixed the problem.
Yes, but I didn't get a second one so far. I bought this giftcard for shopping at DAZ PC Sale. Totally not happy that I still got no working code. With all the stuff not working right with this store I get the impression that I should look at another place ... Well, if I don't get the code in time for PC_sale shopping, I might use it to finish off my wishlist for good and stop buying for a while.
If you haven't, please open a Sales Support ticket - give the order number and the incorrect Gift Certificate code. Daz has apparently tracked the issue down, so hopefully the fix will be quick.
If there is an issue with no code working, a ticket gets me the store credit rather quickly.
*** I let them know I want the credit myself so they just apply it. If you needed a code for a griend you bought the gift card for it takes longer.
Problem solved. I just got a mail back from support that they added the giftcard amount manually., which reconciles me a bit.
