I was a poser user for years and still very new to Daz Studio. With poser you could get a figure to shift their weight from side to side, front back, etc by turning on the inverse kinematics on the feet. When doing this you could move the hips in a direction without the feet moving just like a person would shift weight from one side to the other. Would pinning the feet on a Genesis figure to the same? I have posing questions but saving that for a later post.
Thanks!

Well, yes. If you use the universal tool you can pin translations and rotations independently. Just be aware that this is not a perfect pinning, unfortunately.(Frankly it sucks, but is still very useful for posing, you just need to adjust things after using it.) If you have the active pose tool active, you can use a much better pinning method, works very well but differently, just start using those and you will learn what is the best tool for a given situation;)
Thanks much Sven for your help :)
