Orange colour scheme making things hard to see!

Sorry, DAZ, another definite no-no with someone's idea of a nice snazzy orange theme for the PA sale. It's a bit garish, but that might just be my taste. The problem is, it's affecting visibility of other things on the page. E.g. try going to your My Account page and read the dashboard categories. Can you? I can't. That shade of grey text on that shade of orange just looks like a row of blotches to me.

    You and me both - but I used my mouse to highlight the dashboard categories ...

    Edited to add: but I DO LOVE the catchup and 50% for PC members! (my wallet doesn't ...)

    Agree. Also the grey "purchased" button on things you have already bought looks weird in this scheme. But the layout sure looks pretty.

    Also with today's catchup sale if you go to the page that list all of the artists when you move your mouse into the box with the names they all start bouncing so you can't click on the one you want.

    That whole bouncing thing is getting old anyway. Really, just put the pretty picture there and leave it at that.

    Yeah I was just coming back to edit my post to add that :).

    Well, all but poor FlipMode down at the bottom, he still jumps around.

    I admit I kind of like the Orange. But not if it is hard for others to read

    yeah, me too. And it's nice that DAZ now seems to be able to quickly change designs for parts of the site. It's not perfect (yet?) but nice.

    I like the style and orange too - maybe they should just make an exeption for the My account pages for the background? Don't know if it is doable ...

    I don't mind it either. Instead of an exception maybe they should go with a darker color for those menus anyway and just leave it that way.
