Using existing settings in DS Beta

After my motherboard died and somehow wiped out my C drive I had to reinstall everything Daz although all downloaded content was on an external hard drive. It wasn’t showing as installed (something to do with the “manifest” I think someone said.) If I install the Beta, will it be able to read the settings so I don’t have to reinstall everything again through DIM? Also how do I use all my custom settings, layout, scripts, etc? And can I have both installed on the same computer and switch back and forth? Thanks.

You will need to make sure the content directories match, but the database is shared so one it knows where to look it should find the content.
