Looking for Daz teacher

I'm looking for a really advanced Daz user to give me some lessons in the Los Angeles area. Know of anybody that might be interested?

Presumably you mean Daz Studio or DS.    Daz or Daz3d is the Company and they have several different programs for sale in the store (Bryce, Carrara, Daz Studio & Hexagon) plus some 3rd party programs for which they are a reseller.

I'm not in the LA area, so I can't help there, but there are several excellent tutorials for sale here, and many very good tutorials on you tube. I understand if your not into video tutorials though, and prefer live instruction. It might help potential instructors if you gave a bit of info about your current abilities, and the goals you wish to achieve (i.e. animation takes a different skill set than stills, and do you want to learn post work as well, or would you prefer to do as much as possible via the render engine, and do you prefer to use Iran or 3delight).

Anotehr great place to have a look is in the New User Contests & Events Forum, until you can find someone in your area to help you out.  They focus on a different aspect of DS every month, plus there are a ton of useful links etc. over there.  That particular forum cut my learning curve, probably by more than half.

If you can't find anyone in your immediate area, you could always try streaming. Steam Broadcast and Twitch were intended for streaming games, but it's possible to stream pretty much any desktop app as long as it doesn't violate their content rules. Someone could stream what they're doing in DS and explain it to you at the same time, plus you can ask questions.

And what, specifically, did you want to learn? :)

I'm in L.A., but not "advanced", so yes, what do you need to know?
