Installing old downloads with IM

Is there a way to use IM to re-install all the previously downloaded files that are still in the IM Downloads folder?

Probably not without uninstalling them first.

  • I'm not sure what you are wanting to do - you can uninstall items even if the files are actually missing (or if you know the content is missing throughout just empty the Manifests folder), then reinstall.

I don't know how long this feature has been there, but for installed products, there is an option to re-install on the pop-up menu from the arrowhead at the far right of product entry.

Yes, but that's only one file at a time it seems.

Ah, ALL the previous downloads. Must. Read. Every. Word.

  • Thank you very much for the replies!  I'm very happy to say that right-clicking on the installed products list gives the option to reinstall package(s). Selecting that allowed me to reinstall everything with one click of the Start Queue button.

Well you were on the right track, it appears that if you right click the list there is an option for re-installing "All Selected" items.

I use DIM in some way literally every day, and I didn't even notice that particular feature on the right-click, even when I knew it was on the options button.

    It was added here http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/change_log_1_1_0_100#1_1_0_99
