How many instances of postgres.exe does Daz Studio open?

I was watching my system performance with Speccy, Windows Task Manager, and GPU-Z for troubleshooting and I noticed that Studio has ten instances of postgres.exe open. Is this normal? I wouldn't think it would need more than one, but then again, I'm not on the developer side. If this is normal, great; I can look elsewhere for problems to deal with. If this isn't, what causes it and how can I fix it?
