Stitching on M4 characters

Hi, all.  I'm trying to work with an M4 character, but I'm getting this bizarre "stitching" on his thighs and calves?  Does anyone know what causes this?  I'm using Poser 10 on a Mac (El Capitan).  The "stitching" does not show up in Daz.  Any help would be much appreciated.
