Can I see the PC prices before joining the PC?
in The Commons
On the platinum club page it says that PC items are between 1.99 and 8.99. Items for 1.99, that's quite cheap but 8.99 not so much.
Hence my question: As a not-yet-PC-member, can I see what the price of each PC item is going to be if I should decide to join?
After all, DAZ should tell customers what exactly they will get for their membership fee.

How about a screenshot?
L'Adair's screenshot shows what the latest PC+ stuff costs. There's a load of older stuff on sale for $1.99, mostly for Genesis 2 and older models (and non human figure related products of a similar vintage). It's old, but still useful - especially if you're willing to put some time into upgrading to iray shaders etc.
they're pretty vcheap and right now a lot less overall. there are not many greater than $5, even without the big salle going on now... plus always 30% off on DAZ Originals. free items every week ... 2 $6 coupons. One is traight $6 off DO products, so its bascially a free item if you look for lower cost product. The other you have to spend $18 in your cart first.
If you going to buy quite a bit from DAZ in the future, its a necessity. much discounting always going on.
To answer the question: Not unless a member lets you peek at their account. There are very few at 8.99 (2 dozen total over 5.99), that's for big scary sets with lots of detail and features, or dForce outfits. Most of the recent releases have been 3.99 to 5.99 for outfits, characters, hair and places/things, texture sets will usually be 2.99. Stuff more than 3 or 4 years old will most likely be 1.99 (roughly 2/3 of all PC+). New releases get an extra 30% off for two weeks, like everything else. Aside from the Anniversary Sale, there are occasional sales on PC+ items, sometimes all of them for 50% off, or limited subsets at 80% off, things like that. If you don't have any, there are currently 4663 in the store. This sale is the best time to dive in, especially if you are just starting out, everything is new to you, but pace yourself.
today got $530 of product for $25.
The DO coupon is also good on new releases. Took me almost a year before I realized that. The PA coupon requires a minimum of qualifying items, but it covers PC+ products as well, so if you don't quite have the $18, you can usually add a PC+ to the cart and you're good to go. Just remember, the PA coupon is NOT good on new releases. And neither coupon will work on Fast Grab items.
One point @NorthOf45 missed is there are the occasional promos where Daz gives member discounts to non-members. When they do that, they bump our discount up to 40%.
If you have the Daz Deals browser addon, the price history graph shows the PC+ price, even if you're not a member.
... you could also just add the PC+ membership to your cart to see the basic prices. It should show you the "standard" prices for PC+ while it is in your cart.
Not all of the sales will work with the "temporary" PC+ membership, but you should be able to see the normal discounts on items.
Thank you for all your answers! Especially to L'Adair for he screenshot and to Kitsumo, that looks like a really cool tool and I had no idea it existed. @Daveso: Nice catch!
You're welcome.

… No offense taken. It's all but impossible to tell member gender from Avatar or Handle.)
