TOU for DazStudio included Iray Shader Presets

There are a lot of Iray Shader Presets which come with Daz Studio for free.

I'm interested in the Terms of Use for these shaders presets.

So am I allowed to use these presets, like Alumimium satinated, Jade, Glass etc. for self

modelled props which I'd like to give away for free/ and or commercial stuff ?

I'm just talking about mapless shader presets here, or are there additional components/ modules in these

extended shader presets which are copyright protected ?

Imo pure values of a shader preset aren't protectable/ copyrighted, but maybe I'm wrong or

maybe it is common to use these that way. smiley

Get me right, it's not about stealing other peoples work, but to use existing free presets which are

perfect (maybe with changed base corlors) for a model, instead of fiddling with the shader

values yourself.

I’ve seen commercial products using these shaders such as glass thin clear so I suspect it’s fine. But don’t know for sure.

The owner of the item would have to have Daz Studio to use it anyway. Surely it's not possible to be accused of wrongfully sharing a preset with them that they've legitimately already got too?
