Lighting and/or texture Question

I have 2 textures [Arabella and Chastity] who are very pale milky white in color. At least in their advert images, but I can't get them to render out that way, the skin looks normal, fleshy pink. So is it my lights or something else that is making it render normal? There are no choices in Materials for normal or undead textures.

Nosiferret, it could be your lighting too, but the Arabella skin does look pretty pink and "normal" as opposed to the super pale vamp looking skin she has in many of her promos.
Do you have Altern8 for Genesis 8? If so, try applying the "Charlotte 8 - No Maps" option to Arabella 7. If she is still not pale enough for your need try "Alexandra 8 - No Maps". If you don't have Altern8 let me know and I'll send you a PM with some adjustments you can manually make to Arabella's skin to get a more pale vampire looking skin tone.
SY's Beautiful Skin Iray Genesis 3 Female(s) has some presets for pale skin that might do it, in the Victoria 7 UV folder. The first render here is using the Base Scatter Transmit preset, the second one the Victoria 7 Base ST preset. Default Arabella 7 to the left.
Here is what I think is the simplest way to get the pale vamp skin:
1. Load Arabell's default skin
2. set tranlucency to 0.15 (smaller = lighter)
3. set SSS reflectance to R:216, G:234, B:255 (adjust to taste)
No other products needed.
Thanks everyone for answering!
Diva---Wow, I did not see that product roll out. I'm gonna look closer at it! Thanks for posting that. I like how the eyes appear and I'm a stickler for lips too.
Taoz--Same, I did not see that item roll out from SY, another one to look at.
Fast--I'm gonna try what you have posted since I don't have either of the products Diva and Taoz suggested and see how that works. I'm still not savvy on Studio to know what does what in the settings, I kind of go cross eyed when I open that area up and see all the stuff in there, my brain is still Poser trained even if I haven't opened Poser in over 4 or 5 years now. Everytime I try to tinker with things in Studio I don't see any results, but I'm paying closer attention I've noticed on things that work on G3 and see if I can duplicate them on G8. Like glowy eyes, etc. ;)
Fiddling with the Translucency and SSS settings usually is the fastest way to lighten up or darken the skin to the point you want. Just make sure you check the proper surfaces in the surface tab. Don't want the eyes, inside of the mouth etc. change colour too. And before changing the values, check if there's different settings for finger-/toenails and try to keep any difference for the change.
So when the skin translucency of body, arms, legs, face etc is 0.40 and the translucency for fingernails is 0.42 keep this difference or go into a closeup and choose a value that looks proper in the iray preview.
