At Wiyntercon in sunny (hah, hah, hah, it's tipping it down), in a big tent (really, really big - 35m high, 6 poles ...) I happened to chat to a nice young lady who was on a pitch near the one I was on. She does, among other things, book cover art and was asked to speak with a chap named Kit Cox to discuss cover art and similar things. Considering she does not usually do that sort of thing she performed admirably. Out of interest I went over to chat to her (plus offer sweeties) and was delighted to find that she also used Daz Studio and that she had also beena vendor at 'that other place' under the name Skip1871 (she still has soem freebies available there, some of which I already had) and more amzing she knew my account name her! So, hello @Autumn,it was lovely to meet you, and I'll be back over a bit later with more sweets!

Whilst we were chatting something that was siad sparked a thought, which turned intoa render idea, so this is the result:
Very nice work.
I'd love to know what you used for that environment but would understand if you prefer not to disclose the details.
The great thing about Daz users is that most consider themselves part of a CGI family and love to share informations, techniques and products.

We're all in this together.
As Griffin Avid says, it is teh Ancient Mythical Forest, as it loads - of the 3 options (Vibrant, Realstic and Film) I cannot recall which I used though!
Thanks very much, Griffin Avid and SimonJM. I'm not very 'product aware' if there is such a phrase but I like this one very much. Only a few days ago, in the Carrara non-photo-realistic renders thread, I was showing a forest image using Daz models and some Poser items against the background of a photograph I took and processed through an 'oil painting' filter.
Here are two of the versions: the first is a Carrara render and the second is the Carrara image post-processed with a watercolour filter. (I use the excellent free program 'fotosketcher' for filtering images).
I like deep forest scenes and will look to buy this one.
Very nice!
