Question about modifying an entire animation position rather than per frame

Hello I've been struggling with an issue while trying to use preset animations. It seems I need to modify each frame individually but I am curious if I can modify the entire animation set of frames to reposition models so they do not clip through my scene? A good example is just a simple one of someone walking and when I apply it their feet go through the floor and I have to move all the items in my scene but I would rather just move them up several clicks on the Y axis and same goes with rotation if I rotate in one frame then I have to go and modify each frame individually. It would save a lot of time to know a way to reposition on the X Y or Z axis characters so I do not need to modify every single frame. If you need screenshots or additional information I am happy to provide and sorry if this is a simple fix but I've looked high and low and simply spent too much time searching online and looking in DAZ itself for the solution.

Edit to clarify: I am using the basic timeline in Daz and if I am on say frame 1 and manipulate the position of the model within Daz and press play it will play frame 1 as the character moved into that position then frames 2-* will all snap back to the original position so the animation will no longer align with the original frame I set.

One way to do this is to create a group, put the figure(s) within the group, and then shift the group itself.  Since the figure(s) will be positioned/animated relative to the position of their parent, setting the position of the group (on the first frame of the animation) will move the figures without having to do it frame-by-frame. Or, if you need them to move through the set over time, you can animate the position of the group.
