I should I have to repurchase An Item Just for Iray?

I’m just wondering if I already owned Jumbo Jet VIP ( https://www.daz3d.com/jumbo-jet-vip  ) then why should I have to purchase Jumbo Jet VIP Expanded for Iray ( https://www.daz3d.com/jumbo-jet-vip-expanded-for-iray ) just to use Iray?

    Good question.  I also got the private jet and it looks like I have to repurchase it just for iray settings.

    You can use the model you have in Iray, though you may want to adjust the settings on at least some surfaces. That's why it was a lot of work for the PA to do, which is why the add-on is a separate product in the store if you want to use his settings rather than slog through making your own.
