IRAY won't start

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hi, ive always used IRAY but just recently, when i set a render going, it won't start...it sit's there and does nothing. Ive reset the settings from what I had put in, and still nothing. I can use GPU, and 3d Delight...but for some reason IRAY isn't. I have restarted the program sometimes as many as 5 or 6 times, and i can get lucky and it will start, but i wanted to know if there's been an upgrade recently, or if there's something I've missed or not had ticked that I didn't know about.     Has your driver version changed? What GPU are you using? Have you checked the end of the log file after an attempt to render?

    What version of Studio are you using?
    Many newer things will lock Studio up if you try and render them in older versions.
    I have to return Realistic Tears for that reason, and I've returned a couple of environments as well.

    it's the latest version, and this thing has recently started. I don't believe i've changed anything.

    Windows Update may have changed the driver for you. Help>Troubleshooting>About Your Video card will tell you waht you currently have.
