Cyberpunk 2047 outfit - SOLVED

If anyone has this outfit and used it, are you just limited to short buzzed hair or semi mohawk hair?  Or even bald heads?  I'm looking at the promos, and it shows them with bald heads, a short spikey do with real short sides, and the rest have a hoodie covering their head.  Is it impossible to have them wear real hair with the mask?  I don't see any morphs listed for it on the product page.  I've never had any luck with Hat Helper for G3, so don't want to drop money on the one for G8 which is expensive and not on sale. I'm guessing that if I use a real hair that I'd have to use one that will let you adjust the fit to widen the hair.  Not sure.

In file list there are morphs but no clue about what they change.

Attached are those morphs listed above on the default G8 female. They adjust the hood somewhat, but I think with any hair beyond something very short, you are going to have to do some postwork. And the mask has no real adjustment morphs (there are some hidden ones, but they are just for the supported characters' faces).

I had the outfit but I returned it. There were no hair morphs that I saw and the mask did interfere with hairlines. Bald and shaved haircuts would be easiest for this one. I returned the outfit because the texture files were MASSIVE! There were almost 20 texture maps per item (yes even the panties) and the default bump was set to 50! I dont know if this was an error on someones part but I wasnt going to try and deal with optimizing this one. Task manager showed that the outfit alone was taking 60+% of my memory. If anyone else has this outfit, please confirm this.

It was a shame because I thought it was a really fun outfit.

Edit: Yes there are hood morphs as Phoenix1966 indicated.

...more "sci fi" looking than true "Cyberpunk".

This is more appropriate for the genre.

Hmmm.  Not very informative. Really doesn't give you a clue.

Seems like the hood has minimal movement which looks more for aesthetics rather than function. Kind of a turn-off. I guess as you say, the only real options are short hair, or something like Devil May where you can use the base hair and bangs and still have the look of hair.  Otherwise, yeah, not really versatile. And I guess with the mask, you have to hope the scale dials are active so you can try to scale it Y and X. Sigh....bummer.

OMG!!!  That's a memory sucker!  Yeesh.  Might be time where I need to use that script where you can reduce the size of the textures, cuz 800 maps all at 4096x4096 doesn't work for me.

    Agreed. Sci-fi.

Well, looks like I can remove this from the cart.  Sad, cuz I love the look of it.  But it seems to be limited due to lack of morphs for hood and mask.

On the flip side, 6 out of 7 of my wishlist items are all 40% off and one is 41% off, so might be time to focus on that.

Thanks to all who took the time to answer my question and give me examples.  Much appreciated. yes

About  4096x4096 maps, maybe you should purchase the Scene Optimizer which can divide the size of the maps by 2 or 4.

If you remove the limits, Hood 2 increases the width and Hood 4 increases the height.

    For example, Hood 2 = 170%, Hood 4 = 392%

Hey Noah, thanks!  I actually own the Scene Optimizer but had (obviously) forgotten. blush  Yesterday all I could think of was the Decimator, but I don't own that and it isn't what I was looking for.  I'm going to go ahead and get the outfit and try this one.  Worse comes to worse, I can always return it. (thank you Daz). I can work with the hood like you did, and isn't there also something in DS that allows you to move geometry around?  Like some kind of 'pusher', or brush?  I've never worked with any of those tools, so not sure.
