    Probably not. We just had a new base figure last week. I think it's been about two years or so since Daz started releasing two figures a month, usually one female and then one male, they have generally been released on the first and third week of the month; usually on a Tuesday, though of late, we've also seen releases later in the week.

    During months with Event Sales, like the current PA Festival, I don't recall Daz releasing more than one base figure.

    Mind you, if it's finally another male figure, I'll be happy to be wrong!

    I'd think that if it was a new figure base the GC sale would last for more than 4 hours.  Maybe it's the long awaiteed DAZ Ferret?

    It would be a first, for them to release a new character the following week from a previous release.

    Not impossible, but so far unprecedented.

    There are many examples of them doing Gift Card sales without a release following.

    I would also expect the percentage offered to be highter.

    I think they are just watching everybody's gift card balances and can see when we are running low ;)  Makes a lot of marketing sense.

    We're a third of the way through the PA sale event. I guess they decided to let us refresh store credit before the middle of the month.

    If they did drop a new base character on us, the sale would probably only last a few days again, anyway.
