Daz to Hexagon error attempt 2

I have an issue where Daz is connecting 2 unconnected points on my starship, I've enclosed a picture, but I'd like to find out how to fix this because it makes my docking bays look really bad for no reason.

    Love the name you have given to the screencap :)

    It would be easier to identify the problem if you would provide wireframe views and mark where things have gone wrong.

    First thing to look at when Studio does something nasty to your model is to look for N-gons - Studio doesn't like them one bit.

    In Hex, go to the top menu - Selection, select over-4-point faces. If you have N-gons, they will be highlighted on the model. While you're there, you may as well also look for non-manifold edges - they also cause problems.

    Thanks, that was it exactly, some of these parts I pulled from another program (with permission) and I guess they didn't pull cleanly

    Glad you got it sorted:)

    I've got into the habit of regularly doing those diagnostic tests as the model progresses - mishaps can creep in and it's good to catch them early.
