    Turn the case around so you can see the back. Look for a sticker that says something like "If this seal is broken warranty voided" If that's present then yes, opening the case voids the warranty. It isn't likely to be there. Opening a PC case simply to dust it out is now considered vital maintenance even by Dell and HP.
