If posted already, apologies.
Hi... I am a newbie at 3D printing. I just bought myself a new 3D printer. I wanted to know if anyone had suggestions or a way I could print my own models from DAZ3D to a 3D printer?
I looked around and do not want to pay a printing service. I want to print my own, paint my own etc. Thanks

As long as it's for personal use. Commercial use isn't allowed yet with DAZ assets.
you will need to make sure your model is watertight, meaning no holes in the mesh. You can usually do this with a modeling app like Max, Maya, or Blender. I believe the commercial printing service DAZ is working with (gameprint) has an option to get the STL file from them for personal printing. You will need the free plugin to make this happen https://www.daz3d.com/gameprint-3d-print-plugin
Really, it depeds on your printer. Mine doesn't require models to be water-tight. It automatically makes indies solid up to a certain distance from the hole. However, Meshmixer is free and seals cracks and water-tightens a model each in just a single click. You can also easily slice your model into multiple parts for easier printing with it.
