How Do I Save a SMILE?

FauvistFauvist Posts: 2,219

In DAZ Studio - I'm finding I have to make a lot of adjustments to Genesis 3 Female's cheeks, chin, and jaw to get certain smiles poses to look right.  When I achieve the smile I want - how and where do I save all those little adjustments of things into a one-click expression pose?

Thanks!

  • A pose preset, assuming the sliders you used were under Pose Controls on the figure or the actual Transfrom sliders on the face bones. You can use the menu button in the options dialogue to select only properties with non-zero values (among other things) if you want to be able to apply it without removing other settings.

Ahhh How did I not know about the options dialogue that lets you select only non-zeroed values!? I've been doing things the long and hard way. Ahhhhh lol THANK YOU, Richard, for this jewel of information. That's going to make things much easier. :)

For the figure I used the Parameters tab to create the smile.  So that means I don't save it as a pose preset?

  • Those are the Transforms that Richard was talking about. You're good to go for a pose preset.
