Just a small question.
You can save a render in png and jpg. Now i always use png for the better result but for a project im working on in need a lot of renders so i want to use the jpg format.
Going to use batch rendering at twice the reolution then in photoshop i create a batch to resize them. Prety standard. But what gives the best result:
Save the render in DAZ Studio in jpg or have photoshop do it in the same batch as my resize one. Or is the quality the same?

Jpg is a lossy format. Every time you save, you lose some information. Therefor use a png workflow for as long as you can. Png is a lossless format and doesnt degrade.
Yes i know that but thanks.
I take from your words that I should let photoshop do it. Therefore I can run the batch and do the things needed and as the final step save it as jpg.
(My initial test was 3.05Mb png was converted on quality 10 (12 is max) and ended up 415Kb so it was a significant downsize and with 100+ renders that can really add up)
I did compare the two and there where differences but marginal.
But i guess i will let photoshop convert them to jpg as a final step.
Strictly speaking every tiem you save and reload - saving multiple times in a session, without closing and reloading the file, adds only one round of data loss to the newly saved files compared to the fiel opened at the beginning of the session.
