Can I use a texture add-on for a gen3 item on it's gen8 version?

What I'm wondering more specifically is if I can use https://www.daz3d.com/darkside-boho on https://www.daz3d.com/boho-for-genesis-8-females. Would there be any problems?

    As long as the UV maps for those are the same, you should be fine. It's the rigging that's different for the character. I know I've done that with the Morphing Fantasy Dress. You can use the old textures on new ones and vice versa.

    I have both of those products and did a quick test. Yes, Darkside Boho will work on Boho for Genesis 8 Females.

    There is an issue with some Morphing Fantasy Dress textures.  Most were based on the V3 Dress template but a few were based on a different template for a dress for I think Stephanie petite 3.

    Yeah, the Stephanie 3 was an oddball. Everything for everything else is interchangable, but nothing from that one.
