How to remove textures from figure

davesodaveso Posts: 7,784

I have G3 With Skin Builder 3. Then I added brows with Supernatural Brows. Also use Anagenesis on it.

How can I remove all that stuff and just get back to straing, even white figure without any skin texture. This applies even to G3 or 8 when you load them they come pre-textured.

I have been trying to figure this out too.  I also want all shaders removed too.  Reset to a null setting.

    Create a cube.

    convert it to Iray.

save as shader preset ‘Blank’ or something.

apply shader to whatever you want to blank out.

Why a cube?  How do I convert it to iray?

    Got to surfaces tab.

select the whole figure (or part to check out my explanation)

    In the image:

1 - Multiple (well, at least two different) Images loaded into that slot.

2 - No Images present in this slot.

3 - The same image loaded in all slot instances (five surfaces selected).

The number in brackets (5) repeated multiple times, indicates how many surfaces are selected.

You can't remove shaders the DS default shader is a shader - even without texture maps it still will have a shader.

It doesn't have to be a cube could be a sphere or plane or anything. You convert to Iray by applying the Iray Uber Surface Shader.

    For G8

    1) Open the G8 Dev character

    2) Save the materials as a material preset

    3) Apply saved material preset to the G8 character

    4) I think, but don't remember, that you can apply the material preset you just saved to G3 character too
