Sudden G3F posing issues - distorted chest

I have been going nuts trying to figure out what has gone wrong here. It seems that any pose - preset or manually dialed in - for G3F will cause distorts in her chest and breasts. This is the same for any character - even a freshly loaded blank G3F. Ihave not noticed the problem with G3M.

I have tried reinstalling both Daz (the most current 64bit version for Windows 10) and also Genesis 3 Female Starter essentials - but nothing has helped.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks

  • DS 4.10 or 4.11? If it's the latter, make sure you have Edit>Figure>Limits>Limits On (Rotation) set (this is a bug which will be fixed with the next updatye, by the chnage log). If it's 4.10, do you have https://www.daz3d.com/skinchangers-female ?

  • Hi,

I am using Version 4.10.0.123 The most recent. I tired locking limits but does not change anything. And I do not have the skinchangers.

  • The limits thing is 4.11, so not relevant here. Most likely it is an add-on that has a correction morph set to kick in whenever the chest is bent, instead of only when the shape is on. Try applying a minimal pose to trigger the issue, with no other shapes applied, then in the Parameters pane option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) enable Show Hidden Properties, and look to see what is listed in Currently Used (with the figure itself selected, not a bone).

Thank you so very much, that did the trick!  I found the hidden files, which ended up being some G2F GenX controls that made their way into G3F's files. I am much relieved that I do not need discet my daz directories file by file now :)
