Trying to figure the best way to scale figures so they are the correct height.... A 6' man would be the correct height proportion to a 5'4" woman would be the correct proprtion to a 4' child and so on. So, at any rate I thinking creating a cylyder primitive of the desired character height and scale them to that height. Does that seam reasonable? Is there an easier way?

What figure are you looking to scale? If its Genesis 2/3/8 then the built in body morphs will help you to scale and adjust the figure to your desired size.
Thanks. Yes, adjusting is not the issue. I was looking for a way to make sure my proportions were correct when posing multiple characters of multiple heights in one scene.

You can also create a 1 m cube and scale it to match the figure, then read the scale as cm.
I like that software program though the cost may be a bit steep for me.
As a Daz original, Measure Metrics goes on sale fairly often. Might be something to wishlist for now.
In the meantime for heigh, Richard's tip is a great one. Create a 1 meter cube. Then scale it to the size of your character and read the percentage scaling as centimeters. So 157% would be 157 cm (or (dividing by 2.54) about 62 inches, 5' 2'').

Easy enough to use and the price is right. :-)
Measure metrics is pretty cool as you also get the circumfence of your character, so you can align your clothing accordingly.
Added to my watch list....
Great tool and simple!
