Auto can possibly give you different results as it's judging on a case by case basis. You should do it manually and use the same values for each map.

best use in IRAY instead to use photoshop
    try first "SURFACES" changes

select "surfaces" of character and unlock/unhidde  "DIFFUSE STRENGH" and in parameters setting of the "diffuse strengh" uncheck the "USE LIMITS"
change "diffuse strengh" from 1.0 to 2.0 or more
    - in some skin it need to go more than 2.0 up to 6.0

    - after increase all surfaces just correct the mouth diffuse strengh,,, a bit lower than surface skin

If you are going to use photoshop don’t use the auto correct you will never get the same adjustments across different images. Instead use the layer adjustments like brightness & contrast, exposure, color correction, ect. When you get the look you want you can simply drag and drop them from one image to the other.

Note if all you want to do is make the skin texture darker, you can also do it from the surfaces settings. If the skin has a texture map and the color is set to white (255, 255, 255), then change the color to a lower value (128,128,128). The color is multiplied against the texture and since the original texture files are balanced contrast wise, changing the color value to a darker shade of gray for all the skin surfaces will uniformly make them all darker.

Another way is to click on the texture image as if you were going to browse for a new texture and choose Image Editor. There you can adjust the gamma of the image without changing the texture files themselves.
