Can you purchase continuing PC+ Membership Early?

Yesterday, on Sunday, 8/12/18, I saw the following offer presented by DAZ in it's daily product advertisement:


"Buy any “Futures and Supers” New Release & get 40% OFF* PC+ ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP"


My current PC+ Membership does not expire until November.  My question is can I buy an annual PC+ Membership at this reduced price now and then use it when my current membership expires?  Or is this offer intended only for those individuals who are currently not PC+ members?  I tried to find the answer on the DAZ site, but there was no information available on this question.

Anyone have any experience with this topic?

    You can buy it, and it will automatically extend your membership by one year from your current expiration date.

    One note of caution — if your PC+ membership is set up for a Paypal purchase, you will now have told Paypal to send your $$$ to DAZ twice. People have been caught in this financial knot before, requiring a Gordian solution. Make sure you have "recurring payment" NOT selected on the PC+ page, and afterwards double-check that Paypal only has one recurring payment to DAZ set up.
