We're a full week into August and Daz still hasn't done anything for Michael's birthday, what's up with that? I want the party to get started.

    You can't put Michael in a bikini and have it appeal to the apparently vast majority of daz's customer base. We may get one day for him, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

    If that's the case I'm not likely to buy anything for a while. Black Friday sales, maybe I'll be able to spend more then.

    Looks like it's 40% off right now, because SY just released a new item with Marshian.  I have this product - very cool.

     The latest version of DAZ lists clones as one of the new advantages of Gen 8, but I have not yet figured out how to use them. What advantage does the SY product offer over the clones provided by DAZ? 

    In some of the forum topics I have read, people talk about saving V4/M4 to Genesis, then Genesis to G2, G2 to G3 and then finally G3 to G8. What does this accomplish? Is it about shapes or morphs and where does the clones fit in? I know this is a bit off topic of Michael’s Birthday, but I thought I would inquire about the pros for buying the SY products on clones.

    I thought that SY clones for Gen 8 enables you to fit V4 and M4 clothes to G8 or vice versa.

    Oh, I see now. DAZ doesn’t have clones for V4 & M4, which is what the SY product provides.

    For whatever it may be worth: according to his readme, it's about 12 days until Michael 8's official birthday. The Victoria anniversary sale kicked off more or less on her actual date, I think. Given timing, maybe they'll decide to kick off his birthday with a new guy. It'll be very roughly two weeks after Zelara, and it would be about the right time to kick off the PA Festival sales, as well.

    Correct, but tastefully disguised as an alien human enough looking to be cosplay style. (yes, I'veseen the new Zarara Pro Bundles as Alien Female Bundle. Now it will be very odd to not get an Alien Male Pro Bundle, not that it isn't only to get the matching Male Anime Pro Bundle, Male Fairy Pro Bundle, Male Elf Pro Bundle and so on.

    Oooohhhh yea another female character from DAZ. Clearly, they expect this one to be huge because there are so many add-ones. And yet, we haven’t had a “normal” male released since Edward in February. Ollie and Floyd were too stylized for me to consider them “normal.” But then it’s all about profits I guess. I’m just really disgruntled that it’s another G8F. The disparity in the Genesis 8 between female and male has really gotten ridiculous.

    So sad and dissapointed in Daz for their failure to do anything special for Michael.

    However, the PAs have suprised and delighted me with some wonderful new male content recently. Ishimoto, toon male, and Luca being 3 characters I snapped up right away.

    Don't forget Harrison HD for Michael 8 by @Emrys! He is new and great looking. He comes with fiber eyebrows and beard, too. There are tattoo and birthmark options. When I saw the "for Michael 8", I thought, this should have BEEN Michael 8! I think he looks so much nicer than Michael 8 himself. 

    So, Happy Birthday, Michael. I've given you a makeover with Harrison.

    Harrison is a hottie.  I do wish there was a Michael birthday here. At least put male content on sale or something.

    Emrys did a great job with Harrison. I like Michael 8 in his promo art, but he doesn't ever want to work for me, so I use the other characters from his pro bundle.

    I do appreciate Harrison and some of the other male content that has come out recently, but also annoyed about the lack of any birthday recognition. Just hoping now for a non-toon (no offense, just not my thing) male bundle in the second half of September. For Michael's birthday we got the last bundle sale cut short...

    If Daz planned ahead, cordenated with PAs, and advertised in advance, 1 week for Michael would see a boost in male content selling. People clamoring for more male content knowing early on that there would be a sale and when would be able to save up for it. instead of randomly being suprised by something they want while they are broke. Even if it was a just a 3 day weekend instead of a full week, that would be amazing and better than nothing.
