PWToon and Hair

How do i make PWToon work on hair? It works nice on people and clothes, but with hair i dont get cartoon rendering. What should i change?

Is the shader actually applying? You can tell by looking at top-left of the Editor tab in Surfaces with the hair surfaces that you want to toonify selected.

Should be, before applying changes it shows "diffuse colour" as multiple, and after applying pwtoon with presetes it shows specific colour like it should be.

But when i render, hair looks realistic

So in the end, it looks like this

And it actually says Shader: pwToon at top-left of the Surfaces pane?

    Looks like that.

I don't know, maybe i'm missing something obvious.

Yes, that's how pwToon makes must hair look and your image posted says pwToon is the shader in use and the material surface setup is also 3DL.

You can supplement pwToon's material settings with Cresent's toon ahaders which I think makes but the hair, clothing, and skin look better than pwTon alone.

I'll try those shader presets, thanks.

So, well. I also have manga style shaders, and it helped me to get workaround. If i apply manga style first, and then apply pwtoon, it somehow works better. I don't know why, perhaps manga shader changes something important which stays even if i dont use it.

It works more or less like pwtoon should be (in case with manga style shader, shadow on hair would be totally black instead)
