When saving morph assets, how do you find out where it saved to?

Okay. I just saved out a morph asset with these instructions: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/creating_content/packaging/tutorials/saving_morphs/start#saving_morph_assets

If you are done working on, and want to distribute or share the Morph, you will need to save it out as an Asset. Do this by selecting File > Save As > Support Asset > Morph Asset(s)...

You will be prompted for the following:

  • Asset Directory - This is normally already filled out with a path. Check and make sure it is appropriate.

  • Vendor Name - Your vendor name if you have one.

  • Product Name - The name of the product you are creating.

  • Properties - Select which Assets should be saved out, by placing a check in the box next to each of the desired assets.

It saved somewhere in my C:\DAZ folder, but I don't know where exactly.  Where are the saved morphs and how do I re-apply these saved morphs to a figure?

I don't want to distribute anything, I just want to save these morphs so I can re-apply them to other identical figures.

Okay, I found the location of the saved morph asset.

    C:\DAZ\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female Eyelashes\Morphs\G5A\ProductG5A

But, how do I apply these new morphs to Genesis 8 Female Eyelashes? These new morphs I saved out are not in the content library.

Screw it, I'm just going to save the new eyelashes with the new morphs as a wearable.  I don't think you can save new custom morphs into the content library and easily apply them to a figure.

The morph should load automatically with the figure it was created for. Should be found in parameters/morphs.

Omfg, it does it automatically... That's fantastic!

I'm so used to piece of crap poser that I forgot what it's like to use software designed by professionals.

  • I used .DSF to search for files in the file explorer for windows and it found them.
