Saving Morph in MorphAssets Destroyed EVERYTHING!

I had a problem with GoZ that I made a forum post, and I fixed it.

I began to go back to work, and wanted to save what I worked on in Zbrush as a Morph.

So I did this: Save As /MorphAssets

This forum post here told me how to do it, but apparently it destroyed everything I ever worked on:

https://direct.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/128866/make-and-save-zbrush-morphs-for-daz-characters

So following those instructions, changed EVERY SINGLE ASSET I OWN AND EVERYTHING I MADE BY HAND!

In the image, this is what a Basic non textured, non edited, non sculpted Genesis 1.

Its NOT supposed to look like that when loaded up, and I am freaking out to the verge of tears.

I don't know what to do!

No matter what I load, no matter what figure it will be, it will look like this.

    It didn't work!

Someone, please help! I really don't know what to do to restore everything!

No need to freak out, this can be fixed quiet easily.

The mistake here is you have saved your Morph Asset with the default value of 100%.

Have a look at the Parameters pane with the figure selected, there is a Currently Used group (the third in the left column) where all the morphs are listed that are shaping your character your morphs are propably listed there.

If you press the gear icon at the top right of the slider of some of your morphs you will see the Parameter Settings dialogue where you can set the Default Value to 0%.

Next you just have to save over your Morph Asset(s) again into the same library with the same name.

I have tried this before and tried saving over the assets, but they won't stay saved.

And what do you mean with the same name? It saved over all of the asset files, like 2000+ of them I think.

    EDIT:

    Omg, that was the solution!

Genesis had it's defaults set so that the morphs would always come up when it's loaded in.

How and why saving Assets does this, is horrible beyond understanding.

I am just glad it's back to nromal. And I am NEVER saving assets ever again, cause I do not want to risk this happening again.

Thank you for your time, and I am sorry for freaking out. I almost thought I'd lose everything I ever worked on.

This default value of 100% morphs mistake happens far more often than you could imagine even on comercial products and freebies.

Think of it positive you have learned something and now you know what to do if you encounter it again.
