Green Screen with image series animation

I am trying to do an animation with a moving camera with a GREEN SCREEN so I can blend it with other video in Sony Vegas. When I change the background color to GREEN and render as an image, I get the GREEN I need, but when I try to do the same with image series, the GREEN is only reflected in the lighting, the background remains empty. Any ideas?

Save as png or tiff files and your Background layer will be a transparent Alpha channel. No need to do the GREEN unless your program needs it as a blend color.
