Unable to texture Imports from Blender

Hello,  I create a mesh and add a material in Blender 2.79.  I import it into the latest version of Daz Studio.

Under Surfaces, I select an image for Difuse.  The color displays but the actual grain does not display.  Nor does the bump when I add a Bump map.

This occurs when the mesh is imported as .dae, .fbx, and .obj.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks

Hi! Blender procedurals do not export to DS. You will have to bake the materials to your UV maps and save a diffuse, bump, etc. To .jpg format and then load in surfaces tab channel by channel.
  • Does this apply when all you want to do is use the Iray shaders in Studio?  I only used Blender to delineate the material zones, planning to apply the shaders in Studio.  I get color and shine when rendering, but none of the patterns that, when I look under the Surfaces tab, the program says are there.

It's my first attempt at a full room, so I'm certain I missed a step somewhere...
