Rotating polygon with Geometry Editor?

I was wondering if it is possible to rotate selected polygons with the geometry editor. I was trying to find a way to "fold" a piece of clothing to make it appear to be thicker.

  • Not literally, but if you added a weight map to a dForm you could use the Geometry Edit/Node Weight Paint Brush tools to control the bending.

    1. Create your dFormer
    2. I would advise moving the Field node right out of the way, otherwise its effects will be baked to the weight map and will have to be removed
    3. Open the Tool Settings pane
    4. Select the Node Weight paint brush tool
    5. In Tool Settings there should be a big Unused maps button, currently reading Influence Weights - click the Add button next to that.
