Iray help request on MMD model

HaruchaiHaruchai Posts: 2,026

Hi,

Hoping for some assitance please. I am importing a MMD model into DAZ. In the preview window, and when I render in 3Delight, the model looks fine. When I render in Iray the model goes all 'swiss cheese', full of holes. I have attached renders to show the difference in the two render engine outputs. I have tried changing the surfaces to Iray but that has no effect.

Does anyone know what I can do to stop this happening?

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks, really appreciate the info, currently downloading an importer for Blender and we'll see where I can get to.

Isn't there a 'Flip normal' function available via the Geomerty Editor Tool?

Yes, with the polygons that need flipping seelcted right-click>Geometry Editing>Flip Normals is, as I recall, the command.
